At 18, all are considered competent
adults unless a petition has been filed for
guardianship or limited guardianship. Hennepin
Co. offers this introductory
Guardianship/Limited Guardianship workshop to
explain the difference, powers assigned by the
court, responsibilities of the guardian and options
to complete the process.
